In the UK, it takes at least four years full-time academic and clinical training to qualify as a chiropractor and be eligible for membership of the British Chiropractic Association. The Public can be reassured that the highest standards are maintained thanks to the statutory registration of chiropractors by the General Chiropractic Council, which is overseen by Parliament. The Royal College of Chiropractors facilitates ongoing education and original research for the long-term advancement of the Profession.
